ComAir 20T (HVAC45) Ozone Disinfection for Commercial HVAC systems. UV and Ozone germicidal killing power. Eliminates bacteria and viruses along with odor from smoke, pets and food preparation. 

Maximum Service Capacity: 20 Ton, 8,000 CFM or 6,000 sq ft per unit.

Both the UV Germicidal bulb and Ozone are rated for 20,000 hours of life (or 2 to 3 years of continuous use). 

The ComAir 20T is designed to help remove pathogens and odors ranging from food, tobacco smoke,
pets, and other objectionable smells that may be present in your business or residence.
This system from Pentair, ClearWater Tech, utilizes two different Ultraviolet lamps creating UV light at two
distinct wavelengths. The ozone bulb creates light at 185nm which is easily absorbed by oxygen
molecules. This added energy causes the oxygen molecules to break apart into single oxygen atoms which
then combine with other oxygen molecules to create ozone. Ozone is the world’s most powerful natural
oxidizer. It is effective at oxidizing pathogens (bacteria, viruses, mold, etc.), as well as VOCs, odor,
smoke, and allergens.
The germicidal bulb creates light at 254nm which is absorbed by DNA molecules in unwanted pathogens.
The extra energy disrupts the DNA molecule inhibiting the pathogen from reproducing.
 
The ComAir 20T is designed to install easily into the air duct, placing the ozone UV lamp, germicidal UV
lamp, and an air flow sensor into the air stream. As air passes through the air duct the air flow sensor will
turn on both UV bulbs. Incoming air will first pass by the high-powered germicidal UV lamp. Pathogens
in the air stream will be sterilized as the Ultraviolet light disrupts their DNA. As the air continues to travel
down the duct the air will pass by the ozone lamp where a small amount of ozone will be created in the
air flow. This ozone will then travel with the air out into the occupied space where it is available to oxidize
pathogens on surfaces to further protect the inhabitants and keep them from getting sick.
 
An optional Ambinet Ozone Level Sensor (340-72917) allows the ComAir 20T to regulate the ozone output to maintain specific levels
of ozone in the occupied space. This allows the ComAir 20T to add enough ozone to the air to be effective,
while ensuring the environment remains safe.
 
Optional Remote Odor Controler (340-72916) connects directly to the ComAir 20T and alows you to conviently locate to manually ajust and set the Ozone output level of the system (Low, Medium, High, Boost).
